Steak, How Can I Live Without You?

If there is one type of food I CANNOT live without… It’s steak.

I have eaten at many steak houses but nothing quite compares to MASH (Modern American Steak House) and guess what? It’s their birthday! Which means… 50% on all steaks!


Having been so blessed to have my first post be on this gem is one of the most rewarding feelings a steak “enthusiast” (understatement) can ever ask for.

This being my second time here, Mash is one of my favorite restaurants to date.
I, along with 6 of my friends, ordered the American Rib-eye which was 400g of beautiful.

I ordered a side of red wine sauce and sautéed mushrooms for moi. The mushrooms were divine- succulent with a light buttery glaze which complemented the steak delisciously.

Cooked just how I like it, medium rare, the steak was PERFECT. This type of cut has a higher fat content then most but I’m not a lean meat kinda girl. The perfectly marbled, melt-in-your mouth effect this cut gives is the type of steak that will make you come back wanting more.

The night doesn’t end there though after our huge portions of steak, half of us shared the Deconstructed Chocolate Cake with Bourbon Ice Cream and the Profiteroles with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Syrup.

Overall, I’m a happy camper on steroids. The steak, the ambiance and the company places this restaurant at the top my list and the first of my posts. Not to mention, 50% off the price made the food taste even better. Happy Birthday, Mash! I wish you many more years in the steak industry!
